International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) is recruiting candidates for Grade A posts, with Phase 1 exam scheduled on 01 September 2024. IFSCA Grade A Exam Pattern 2024

IFSCA has released the exam pattern along with the official notification PDF. For the final selection, candidates have to qualify for Phase I, Phase II and Interview round. In each phase, candidates have to give 2 papers. There will be negative marking for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase I and for Paper 2 in Phase II. All the questions in both the phases will be asked in both Hindi and English languages ​​except for the English test.

IFSCA Grade A Exam Pattern 2024: Phase 1

Phase I Exam IFSCA Grade A 2024 Assistant Manager will have 2 papers. To move to the next stage of the recruitment process, candidates must obtain a 40% overall score. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase I will have negative marking, with 1/4th of the prescribed marks being deducted for each question. In Paper 1, candidates must obtain a minimum of 30% marks, with no specific sectional cut-off. For Paper 2, the minimum required score is 40%. Candidates must meet these individual cut-offs as well as the overall 40% overall cut-off to qualify for Phase II. However, the marks obtained in Phase I are only used to shortlist candidates for Phase II and are not counted in the final selection.

IFSCA Grade A Exam Pattern 2024: Phase II

In the Phase I exam for IFSCA Assistant Manager, candidates will have to appear for two papers. To move to the next stage of the recruitment process, they will have to secure at least 40% marks in aggregate. In the Phase II exam, there will be a negative marking system, with 1/4th marks being deducted for each question in Paper 2. To qualify for Phase III, candidates will have to meet separate cut-offs for each paper in Phase II and achieve an overall cut-off of 40%, with Paper 1 contributing 1/3 of the total weightage and Paper 2 contributing 2/3 of the weightage. Based on these criteria, candidates equal to 3 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted, in order of merit, for Phase III, which is the interview round.
