Operation Sindoor: Why India attacked across the border after the Kashmir attack


At midnight of 7 May 2025, India launched Operation Sindoor to strike a missile strikes on cross -border terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir. The move came after a deadly terrorist attack in Kashmir, which surprised the entire country. Accurate attacks targeted major terrorist infrastructure and training camps identified through satellite intelligence and human sources. The Indian armed forces gave a strong message against terrorism and originally coordinated to ensure minimum collateral damage. Kashmir Terror Attack

On 22 April 2025, a cruel terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, a tourist area in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists attacked a group of tourists. In this attack, 28 innocent people lost their lives. It was one of the most tragic attacks in recent times. India strongly condemned the attack and the government announced that justice would be served.

Operation vermilion
In response, India carried out Operation Sindoor on 6 May 2025. The Indian Army launched a missile strikes targeting terrorist camps and infrastructure located at places like Bahwalpur, Muridke and Muzaffarabad. According to reports, India targeted nine sites during the operation. India said that it was an essential step to protect its citizens and to give a strong message that such attacks would not be ignored. Operation Sindoor highlighted India’s zero-oppression policy towards terrorism. This shows that the country is ready to perform adventure to protect its people and borders. The operation also reminds the world that terrorism is a global threat and requires a strong and united response.
