UPTET exam for teacher eligibility test is conducted at annual intervals in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This special examination of the state is conducted by the Education Services Selection Commission.

UPTET exam refers to the eligibility of teachers from class I to class VIII, for which candidates have to appear in separate papers to teach in primary and secondary schools.

Like previous years, UPTET exam is going to be conducted for the candidates in 2024 also, due to which the candidates are waiting for the official notification to get teacher eligibility.

Some candidates were selected in the last TET examination but some posts were still left. To select the candidates on these remaining vacancies, it was ordered that notification for UPTET exam will be issued again within 2 months.

According to other orders, now very soon the notification for TET examination can be issued by the Education Service Selection Commission in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates will be able to know the exam related date sheet schedule only after the notification is issued.

Qualifications of candidates for UP TET exam

1. The candidate must have passed class 10th and 12th examination.
2. To appear in the examination, it is also necessary to have a graduation degree.
3. Along with graduation degree, a diploma of up to 2 years will also be required.
4. It is very important for the candidate to have passed the final year of B.Ed degree.
5. The age of the candidate should be above 18 years and the maximum age limit can be any.

TET notification may be issued this month

The department has not yet released any certified information regarding the official notification for the TET exam. It is being told that by the end of the year 2024 i.e. in the month of November or December, confirmed decisions can be taken for this teacher eligibility test.

• To be eligible for UPTET exam from class 1st to 8th, it will be necessary to appear for both the papers.
• TET exam will be conducted in MCQ mode.
• The time duration of the examination for both the papers will be fixed at 2 hours 30 minutes.
• Candidates will have to solve a total of 150 questions in this given time.
• The syllabus of both the papers to be conducted will be the same.
