The School Education Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to conduct the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) from 3rd to 20th October 2024 at various exam centers and it will be conducted in two shifts. The selection of candidates for the AP TET exam will consist of 02 papers. Paper 1 for Primary Teacher Posts (Classes I to V) and Paper 2 for Upper Primary Teacher Posts (Classes VI to VIII). The AP TET exam will be conducted in CBT mode and candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for appointment as teachers in all schools (Government/ZP/MP/Municipal/Recognized Private Aided and Private Unaided etc.) of Andhra Pradesh.
AP TET Exam Date 2024 Announced
The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is a state-level exam that is a way to determine the eligibility of candidates to teach classes 1 to 8 in all schools in Andhra Pradesh. As per the AP notification PDF, the AP TET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from 3rd to 20th October 2024 in two shifts each day. The first shift is from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift is from 2:30 PM to 05:00 PM. AP TET Exam Schedule 2024
The AP TET computer based exam will be conducted from 3rd to 20th October 2024 at several exam centers across 24 districts of Andhra Pradesh except Manyam and Alluriseeta Rama Raju (ASR) districts. The CBT exam will be conducted in two shifts from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 05:00 PM. The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. All the exam related information including exam date, shift timings, exam centers etc. will be released along with the AP TET Hall Ticket 2024 on the official website https://aptet.apcfss.in.
AP TET Exam Pattern 2024

Paper 1 for candidates who want to teach classes I to V and Paper 2 for candidates who want to teach classes VI to III.
