Horizontal reservation

- Women Candidates: 50% posts are reserved for women of Madhya Pradesh in all categories. If reserved posts for women remain unfilged, the vacant posts will be filled by eligible candidates of the same category, as applied.
- Pre-service: 10% of the posts are reserved for ex -servicemen in horizontal categories. If the posts reserved for ex -servicemen are not filled, the vacant posts will be filled by the eligible male or female candidates of the same category.
- Guest Teacher: 50% of the teacher vacancies available for direct recruitment in academic cadre are reserved for candidates who have worked as guest teachers in Madhya Pradesh government schools, which are for minimum three academic sessions (200 days in total) . If the posts reserved for guest teachers are unformed, then the vacancies will be filled by the eligible non-grest candidates.
- Disabled person (PWD): 6% of the total vacancies are reserved for disabled candidates, 1.5% limit for each category (visually impaired, hearing impaired, locomotor disability, and others).
- Special provisions for primitive tribes: For candidates related to Sahariya, Baiga, and India primitive tribes from specific districts, if they meet the minimum qualification for the post, there is a special provision for direct appointment.
