Qualification and experience required,
- Senior Resident:
- DM/M.Ch for super-specialty.
- MD/MS for other specialties.
- If DM/M.Ch candidates are not available, candidates having MD/MS in allied specialization can also apply.
- Junior Resident (Dental):
- BDS degree from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India.
Language Requirement:
- Candidates should know Punjabi up to matriculation level. If not, they have to learn it within six months of joining.
Age Limit:
- Senior Resident: Maximum age is 45 years. If sufficient candidates below this age are not available then candidates above 45 years of age can apply.
- Junior Resident: The maximum age is 37 years with age relaxation as per Punjab Government rules.
