Candidates eligible for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 will be selected on the basis of merit, as described below:
- A list of candidates applying for different trades will be prepared separately for each trade.
- A separate merit list will be prepared for each trade on the basis of marks obtained by the eligible candidates as per the required qualification. Age will be given equal weightage for LOT/SSC pass and ITI pass.
