Kerala TET Teacher Salary Level

Kerala TET Salary and Allowances
Dearness Allowance (DA)
Dearness allowance will be given to the candidate based on his job category and basic pay. Candidate will get 50% DA in their hand salary which will be approved by Kerala Government. The new formula for calculating DA is as follows:

house rent allowance
House rent allowance for KTET teacher will be given at 10% of their salary depending on their city. The candidate will be provided Rs. 2350 for Class A cities. KTET House Rent Allowance will be divided into 4 sections. The candidate will get HR allowance at urban category level as given below:
- A class: Corporation limits of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kochi, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Kannur cities. Moreover, Forest Complex, Mathottam, Kozhikode and government institutions are located within a radius of 3 kilometers from Civil Station, Kakkanad.
- Class B: Municipalities at district headquarters.
- Class C: All municipalities except district headquarters.
- Class D: all panchayats

traveling allowance
KTET salary includes traveling allowance depending on their travel mode and city. The employee will get traveling allowance along with the pay scale of his class category. Kerala TET teacher will get traveling allowance for lower primary and upper primary. Rs 500 in Kerala state. Rs 650 for job posting outside the state.
spectacle allowance
KTET salary also includes spectacles allowance i.e. an amount of Rs. Rs 1500 will be given once in five years as reimbursement of the expenditure incurred on the purchase of spectacles. The employee will get this allowance after completing 5 years in the job profile.
hill tract allowance
Kerala TET salary includes Hill Trace Allowance rate as per their pay scale. The rate of Hill Tract Allowance will be given in different categories which are given below:
