Changing name of clerk post
One of the most notable changes in the IBPS Calendar 2025 is the renaming of the post “Clerk” to “Customer Service Associate (CSA)”. This updated terminology reflects the shift towards an emphasis on customer-centric roles in public sector banks, aligning job descriptions with emerging banking trends.

IBPS Exam Calendar 2025 introduces more accurate and well-defined IBPS RRB Prelims Exam Date 2025 for PO and Clerk. IBPS RRB PO Prelims exam is scheduled on 27th July, 02nd and 03rd August 2025, while IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims exam will be held on 30th August, 06th and 07th September 2025.
For Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), the preliminary exam for Officer Scale I will begin on July 27 in 2024-25, much ahead of the August schedule. This earlier deadline ensures that candidates have more time to prepare for the later stages.
Advanced Registration Process
The 2025-26 IBPS Calendar introduces a new step in the application process, candidates will now have to upload a live photograph captured through webcam or mobile phone. This step adds an additional layer of security and authenticity to the registration process.
