BIS Results 2025: The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has officially declared the final result for direct recruitment of Technical Assistant (LAB), Senior Technician and Technician posts. The announcement was made on 7 September 2024 published in advertisement number 01/2024/ESTT in employment news and other major newspapers.
This recruitment process included online examinations held on 19th and 21 November 2024, followed by skills/practical/business tests held from 3 March to 11 March 2025. Candidates qualifying through both stages are now placed in the final selection list, as published by BIS.

- Computer-based test (CBT): A qualified written examination consisting of subjects like general intelligence, logic, general awareness, English and domain-specific technical questions.
- Skill test/trade testing: Candidates cleaning CBT were called for specific trade or practical trials for their domains (eg, for the technical assistant) for their domains (eg, for chemical/mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, etc.).
