IIBF conducts the CAIIB 2024 exam twice a year. CAIIB registration 2024 for the November-December cycle has begun. Employees from the banking and financial sector can submit their application forms on the official IIBF portal till September 23, 2024. During the first week of registration, only the standard exam fee will be applicable. In the second week, candidates will have to pay the standard exam fee as well as an additional Rs 100. In the last week, the fee will include the standard exam fee as well as an additional Rs 200.

How to Fill CAIIB Registration Form 2024?

• Go to “Member” under ‘Apply for Online Exam’.
• Review Carefully CAIIB Syllabus Rules & Eligibility Criteria.
• Pay close attention to the instructions given.
• Select CAIIB/CAIIB Optional Exam.
• Log in using your membership number and password.
• Read and accept the instructions.
• Provide the details like exam mode, medium, center, and work location.
• Preview the entered data.
• Confirm the authenticity of the information and proceed to ‘Accept & Submit’ for online payment.
• Before submitting the online application form make sure all the details are filled correctly.
• Select the preferred payment option (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking) and follow the on-screen instructions.
• On successful completion, transaction details will be displayed and notified via e-mail or SMS.
• If the process is unsuccessful or incomplete, try the online process again.
• After submitting payment information, wait for confirmation from the server.

IIBF CAIIB Registration 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the criteria to be eligible for the IIBF CAIIB exam,

• Applicants must be eligible to take Part 1 of the Associate exam or the JAIIB exam.
• The applicant must be a member of IIBF.
• The term of membership of the candidate should not have expired.

CAIIB 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must be familiar with the exam pattern. Knowing the exam format gives you an idea of ​​how many questions there are, how many marks and how much time it will take.

CAIIB exam consists of four compulsory papers, namely Advanced Bank Management, Bank Financial Management, Advanced Business & Financial Management, and Banking Regulation & Business Laws.

• There are 5 optional papers in it, out of which candidates have to choose one of their choice. The optional subjects include- Rural Banking, Human Resource Management, Information Technology and Digital Banking, Risk Management and Central Banking.
• Each paper will have a total of 100 questions, carrying a maximum of 100 marks. There is no provision of negative marking for CAIIB exam 2024. The exam duration is fixed at 2 hours for each compulsory paper.

CAIIB 2024 Passing Criteria

• A minimum of 50 out of 100 marks is required to pass in each subject of CAIIB.
• Candidates who obtain minimum 45 marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in a single attempt will also be considered as successfully qualified for the examination.

Mode of CAIIB Exam

For the CAIIB exam, candidates can choose either Hindi or English as their preferred language. Candidates must fill the application form completely, mentioning their preferred language, as amendments will not be accepted later.

IIBF CAIIB 2024 Deadline

A candidate may take the exam a maximum of five times in a three-year period beginning from the date of registration. The 3-year limit or five attempts, whichever is earlier, begins when a candidate registers for the first exam.

It is not necessary that the attempts be made consecutively. If a candidate is unable to clear the exam in the stipulated time, he or she will have to re-enroll for the CAIIB exam. Similarly, if a candidate is unable to use all five attempts and a period of three years has passed, he or she will have to re-enroll for additional attempts.

Any candidate can apply for any five of the six CAIIB exams that are held in a period of three years. If an applicant attempts all five before the completion of three years, he or she needs to re-enroll.
