CISF Constable Fireman Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2024: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), a central armed police force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has recently announced the recruitment notification for 1,130 Fireman Constable posts. CISF has also released the syllabus and exam pattern along with the official notification. CISF Constable Fireman Selection Process 2024
To select the most suitable candidates, CISF has designed a rigorous selection process. The CISF Fireman selection process consists of five rounds, each stage of which is important to assess the physical and mental abilities of the candidates. Candidates have to qualify all the rounds to be appointed to CISF Fireman post.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – This round assesses the physical efficiency of the candidates through a running task within a specified time.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Candidates who qualify PET will proceed to PST round, where their height, chest and weight will be measured.
- Document Verification (DV) – After qualifying for PST, candidates will have to go through document verification. In this round, candidates will have to submit their certificates for educational qualification, age, caste and other required documents.
- written examination – Candidates who qualify the DV stage will participate in the online examination of 100 marks. The examination is designed to assess the general knowledge and abilities of the candidates.
- medical examination – Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the written examination will be eligible for the final round in the CISF Fireman selection process, which is the medical examination. This stage ensures that the candidates are medically fit to serve as CISF Firemen with the specific medical standards set by the authority.

Candidates should be familiar with the CISF Fireman Exam Pattern as it provides valuable details about the exam format and marking scheme. The exam consists of objective multiple choice questions and will be conducted online.
- The medium of the paper will be English and Hindi.
- The exam consists of 100 objective type questions.
- Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for UR/EWS/Ex-SM category and 33% for SC/ST/OBC category.
