The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the final result for IBPS Clerk, PO and hence the recruitment process on 01 April 2025. Candidates who have successfully approved the recruitment stages will now have to prepare for the document verification (DV) process, which is an important step before joining their respective banks. During the DV process, candidates have to submit original documents with self-contained photocopies to verify their eligibility, identity and class claims. The recruitment process may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process as a result of failure to provide the necessary documents.
IBPS Clerk, PO and therefore required documents for DV procedure at the time of joining
The document verification process is an important step in IBPS Clerk, PO and therefore the recruitment process. Candidates are advised to re -examine their documents and ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before they appear for the verification process. Proper preparation and presenting required documents will ensure a smooth transition to their respective banks. Candidates must submit the following documents at the time of DV and at the time of joining:
1. Documents required for all candidates
Interview call letter: A printout of the valid call letter released for the interview round (for IBPS PO & So).
Online application form: A valid system-generated printout of the application form submitted during registration.
Evidence of date of birth: The birth certificate issued by a competent authority or SSC/ Class 10 Certificate shows the date of birth.
Photo Identity Proof: Any ID issued by any government such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, passport or driving license.
Educational Qualification Certificate:
- Graduate mark sheets and certificates from a recognized university.
- Appropriate documents from the university/board confirm the declaration of the final result.
2. Class-wise specific documents
SC/ST/OBC Certificate:
- Candidates related to SC/ST/OBC categories should provide a valid caste certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority.
- The OBC candidates falling under the creamy layer are not eligible for OBC reservation and they may have indicated their category normally.
EWS Certificate: Candidates claiming the financially weak section (EW) reservation will have to submit the income and asset certificate issued by the appropriate authority.
Disability Certificate: Individuals with benchmark handicapped (PWBD) will have to provide a disability certificate issued by the District Medical Board. Candidates using a scribe during the examination will have to submit the prescribed Munshi Declaration Form.
Pre-service documents: Ex -servicemen will have to present a copy of their service or discharge book with pension payment order.
3. Other cases
Any objection certificate (NOC): Candidates working in government, semi-government, or public sector undertakings (including nationalized banks) should produce NOC from their employer. The conditional NOC issued for specific banks will not be accepted.
Experience Certificate: If applicable, candidates must submit a valid experience certificate (either hard copies, digital signed copies, or via email from a valid source, subject to verification).
Certificate riot affected persons for 1984: Under the rehabilitation package, eligible candidates should provide a certificate from the District Magistrate for age discount.
Additional Documents: Any other relevant documents required for eligibility verification.
Important notes for document verification
- If they fail to produce the necessary documents, the candidates will not be allowed or included for the DV.
- The recruitment process from the non-subsidiary of relevant documents will cause immediate disqualification.
- No documents should be sent directly to IBPS/Nodal Banks
- Educational qualification, caste certificate, EWS certificate and authenticity of disability certificates will be verified with the authority issued. Any wrong submission can lead to legal action and permanent disqualification.
- This is the only responsibility of the candidate to present the actual documents. Even after joining, any wrong submission will give legal results.
