GIC AM Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Selection of candidates for Assistant Manager (Scale I) posts will be based on the performance of the candidates in Online Test, Group Discussion and Interview and Medical Examination. The minimum qualifying marks in online examination will be 60% for General and OBC category and 50% for SC/ST category. Total marks for online test, group discussion and interview will be 200.

- General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) Assistant Manager Examination for Hindi Stream and Other than Hindi Stream will be objective type and descriptive type examination.
- The exam will be divided into 03 parts.
- Total test time 150 minutes. 30 minutes for Part A, 60 minutes for Part B and 60 minutes for Part C
- Penalty will be imposed for wrong answers by the candidates (in objective tests). 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

GIC Assistant Manager Salary 2024
Selected candidates appointed as Assistant Manager posts will be given a basic pay of Rs 50,925/- per month in the scale of Rs 50925 -2500(14) – 85925 -2710(4) -96765. Along with the monthly salary, candidates will also be provided other admissible allowances like DA, HRA, CCA etc. Total emoluments are approximately Rs. 85,000/- per month. Apart from this, employees will also get other benefits like Pension Scheme, Newspaper/Internet Allowance, Leave Travel Subsidy, Medical Benefits, House Furnishing Allowance, Domestic Help Allowance and other allowances.
