Eligibility Criteria Recruitment 2024

To apply for Junior Resident post, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Education: Must have MBBS degree from a recognized university or institute and certificate of completion of internship. If you are a foreign graduate, you must pass the FMG exam.
  2. age limit: Maximum age limit for general candidates is 30 years. There is relaxation for SC/ST candidates (5 years) and OBC (Delhi) candidates (3 years). Persons with Disabilities (PWD) will be given relaxation in their age limit as per rules.
  3. Training: Candidates must complete one year rotatory internship after obtaining MBBS or qualify the FMG examination on or after October 28, 2022.
  4. Registration: Valid registration with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) is required on the date of interview.

pay scale:- Selected candidates will get the pay scale in Level – 10, which is between Rs. 56,100 to Rs. Rs 1,77,500 along with other allowances as per residency rules.

Tenure:- The appointment is purely on ad-hoc basis for a period of 89 days or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier. The tenure can be extended on the basis of performance.
