Indian Coast Guard Navik Syllabus is prescribed by the Indian Coast Guard. The written examination consists of various subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, Basic Chemistry, Reasoning, Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. Indian Coast Guard Navik Exam Pattern – Written examination
  • Format of the paper is objective type, MCQs will be asked
  • the written test includes English, Mathematics, Physics, Basic Chemistry, Reasoning, Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude
  • Level of the questions will be of 12thstandard
  • Candidates will be asked to submit the following documents before the written exam for scrutiny:
Pre-filled online e-admit card with the latest photograph affixed (3 copies)
Valid Govt. identity proof such as passport, driving license, Aadhar card/ Voter I-Card, Pan Card, School/ College ID-Card or any other photo identity proof, etc.
Printed copy of application form (2 copies)
Recent color passport size photographs with blue background (Ten)
10th pass certificate and mark sheet in original
Original Caste certificate (if applicable) of their respective state issued by Tehsildar/Sub District Magistrate / District Magistrate
12th pass certificate and mark sheet in original
Domicile proof
  • Failing to show any of the above documents, candidates will not be allowed to write the exam
  • Those who will qualify written test will be asked to appear for Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

 

Indian Coast Guard Navik Exam Pattern – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • Qualified candidates in written test will be called for PFT that will be conducted for two consecutive days
  • Physically challenged candidates are not allowed to sit in PET exam as per exam rule
  • PFT will have the following parameters-
    • 6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes
    • 20 Squat ups
    • 10 Push-ups
  • Candidates should be in comfortable clothes during the PFT such as Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser etc. to avoid exhaustion

 

Indian Coast Guard Navik Exam Pattern – Medical Examination
  • This is the final stage of Indian Coast Guard Navik selection process. Authorized military doctors will conduct the medical examination of the candidates who clear written test and PFT. Find details of the test below:

Height
The minimum height has to be 157 cms.
Chest
Well-proportioned chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Weight
Proportionate to height and age + 10 percentage acceptable
Hearing
Normal
Visual Standard
6/6 (Better Eye) and 6/9 (Worse Eye)

(Candidates using glasses are not eligible)

Tattoo
Permanent tattoos on any part of the body are not allowed
