1. Engineer (Marine) ,
- Essential Qualifications,
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with two years experience on Mechanized Vessel,
Or - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with four years experience on Mechanized Vessel.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with two years experience on Mechanized Vessel,
- Desired,
- Certificate of First Class Engine Driver of Fishing Vessels issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.
- Passed examination in Safety and Survival, Fire Fighting, or First Aid from approved institutions.
2. engineer (plow) ,
- Essential Qualifications,
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture with two years experience in shipbuilding or boat repairing, Or
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture with four years experience in shipbuilding or boat repairing.
- Desired,
- Passed examination in Safety and Survival, Fire Fighting, or First Aid from approved institutions.
3. captain ,
- Ability,
- Indian Navy personnel must have at least two years’ service as Mater Chief Second Class or equivalent rank and five years’ experience in a sea-going small ship.
- Desired,
- Certificate of Captain of Fishing Vessels issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.
- Passed examination in Safety and Survival, Fire Fighting, or First Aid from approved institutions.
