- Master’s degree with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates)

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that CA will now be considered equivalent to postgraduate degree from 15th March 2021 And hence, a candidate with CA certification does not need a master’s degree to become eligible for the UGC NET exam.
