MP TET exam pattern
- This exam is taken in online mode.
- The objective of the examination is to check the primary (class 1-5) and upper primary (class 6-8) and to become teachers in classes 9 to 10 schools.
- All the questions asked in it are objective (MCQ), that is, each question has four answers, one of which is correct.
- A total of 150 questions are asked in the examination, and each question is of 1 marks, that is, a total of 150 marks test.
- In this exam, no number is cut on the wrong answer (there is no negative marking).
- The total examination time is 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes).
- The language of the question paper is both in Hindi and English.
- Divyang candidates have to score at least 50% marks to pass.
- Whereas all other candidates require at least 60% marks to pass the exam.

Nature and level of questions in primary school TET Paper (Paper 1)
Types of questions asked in paper 1,
- Questions related to Child Development and Pedagogy are based on educational psychology and teaching methods of children (6 to 11 years of age).
- Language-II is different from language-first. Candidates can choose one of Hindi / English / Urdu / Sanskrit as language-II.
- Questions related to mathematics and environmental studies (EVS) are asked to test the candidate’s grip on the subject, the ability to solve the problem and the understanding of the teaching approach.
- All questions are based on the syllabus of classes 1 to 5, but their level is equal to high school (10th).
