ITBP Driver Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2024: Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has announced the recruitment of 545 Constable (Driver) posts for male candidates. The post is classified under General Central Service, Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) and is on temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent. Selected candidates will be deputed to serve at various locations across India or potentially abroad. The board has prescribed various physical tests which the candidate has to pass. Candidates must have the following physical measurements to pass the physical standard test to get the Constable Driver post. Physical examination is given below.
ITBP Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- 1.6 km run – 7.30 minutes
- 11 feet long jump – 3 chances will be given
- 3½ feet high jump – 3 chances will be given
ITBP Driver Physical Standard Test (PST)

- For General/SC/OBC category candidates – Height: 170 cm and Chest: 80 cm without expansion and 85 cm with expansion.
- For ST Category – Height: 162.5 cm and Chest: 76 cm without expansion and 81 cm
- For candidates belonging to Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir region of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh – Height: 165 cms and Chest: 78 cms without expansion and 83 cms spent Did
- For candidates from North-Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura – Height: 162.5 cm and Chest: 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm with expansion
ITBP Driver Written Exam Pattern 2024
- The exam will be MCQ based
- Each question will be of 1 mark
- There will be no negative marking
- The examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages
- The level of questions will be of 10th standard
- The minimum qualifying marks will be 35% for UR, EWS and Ex-Servicemen and 33% for SC, ST and OBC categories.
