Ladli Pension Scheme Haryana: In Haryana, a scheme was started by the government in view of the decreasing sex ratio of women in Haryana. The name of this scheme is Ladli Pension Yojana. As you all know, the condition of women in Haryana was not good in earlier times. No one wanted a girl to be born in their house. In such a situation, the sex ratio was continuously falling. To improve the sex ratio, a scheme was started by the government named Ladli Pension Scheme.
The scheme was started in 2006
Ladli Pension Scheme was launched by the Haryana state government and is effective in both rural and urban areas of the state.
Criteria required to avail the benefits of the scheme
- This scheme is for those families in which there are only girl children. If a family has a son (either biological son or adopted son) then the family will not be eligible for the benefit.
- The biological parents of the girl child should be residents of Haryana state.
- The total annual income of the family including all sources should not exceed Rs 2,00,000.
- The family will be the beneficiary of this scheme for 15 years, starting from the date when one of the parents of the child turns above 45 years of age.
- The birth of the child must be registered under the government, and parents must ensure that the child is properly vaccinated.
- Depending on the age of the child, it is necessary for the child to be enrolled in school.

- After verification, the applicant will be given a beneficiary ID. ID will be sent to the registered mobile number.
- Once the application is accepted, the pension amount will be transferred to the account of the girl’s parents.
