- Necessary: Bachelor’s Degree (Full Time) in Civil Engineering.
- Desired: Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Candidates should have minimum 20 years of experience in Group “A” or equivalent posts including:
- Experience in planning, construction and execution of railway or metro rail projects.
- Extensive experience in tender preparation, contract management and project management.
- Knowledge of coordination with Railway and Metro Rail authorities.

Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Serving officers of Group-‘A’ service from Indian Railways or other Government services.
- Officers at E8 level or above of CPSEs/PSUs.
- Candidates from private sector companies with turnover more than Rs. 1,000 crore and relevant experience.
- Retired officers with appropriate qualifications and experience.

ncrtc recruitment 2024 selection process
The selection process will include:
- A investigation committee Which reviews all the applications.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview,
- A selection committee will prepare a panel of candidates on the basis of interview.
The decision of the Selection Committee will be final, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
