age limit
- Age for JRF post: 28 years
- There is no age limit for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor.

Ability
For this examination, M.Sc/equivalent degree degree with 55% marks is required for General/OBC candidates and 50% is required for SC/ST and Divyang candidates. Apart from this, candidates with integrated courses and BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma and MBBS degrees will also be considered eligible for CSIR NET 2023.
