ONGC Scholarship Scheme
ONGC Foundation provides scholarship amount under this scheme to the students of economically weaker general category, SC, ST etc. In this scheme, an amount of Rs 48,000/- is provided annually by ONGC Foundation. The benefit of this scholarship amount will be provided only to students holding degree. Under this scheme of ONGC Foundation, 2000 students will be provided the benefit of this amount.
Out of 2000 students selected in this scholarship, 500 students will be from general category, 500 students will be from OBC and the remaining 1000 students will be from SC/ST. Out of the selected students in ONGC Scholarship Scheme, 50% scholarship has been reserved for girls. Therefore, out of total 2000 students selected, 1000 will be girls.

- To avail the benefit of this scheme, only students having master’s degree in engineering, MBBS and other technical fields or studying in Indian universities can apply for this scheme.
- General category families whose annual family income is less than Rs 2 lakh can apply for this.
- The age of the applicant student should not be more than 30 years.
- SC, ST students whose annual income is less than Rs 4.5 lakh can apply for this.
- The applicant student must have passed class 12th with minimum 60% or more marks.
- The applicant student should not be already availing the benefit of any kind of scholarship scheme.
