Post office started new scheme
from the postal department Deendayal Sparsh Yojana 2024 Has been launched. Under this scheme, school students are being given the benefit of scholarship of Rs 6000. Interested and eligible candidates can send their applications by 9 September 2024. Under this scholarship scheme, scholarship is provided to meritorious students. Under Deendayal Sparsh Yojana, students of government and private schools can apply.
Interested students will have to follow offline mode to apply. Under this scheme, students studying in any recognized government or private school in India can avail benefits. Under this scheme, the Postal Department will give Rs 500 per month as scholarship.
To get scholarship you will have to take an exam
The benefit of this scholarship will be provided for one year. You can send your application for this scholarship till 9th September. To avail the benefit of scholarship, students will have to appear in the examination. The examination will be conducted on 30 September 2024. This examination will be of 50 marks and the candidates selected in this examination will be given the benefit of this scholarship. In this examination, questions related to postal department will be asked. Apart from this, questions from current affairs, history, geography, science etc. will also be asked.
Required eligibility for Post Office Scholarship Scheme
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen
- The applicant must be studying in a recognized educational institution in India.
- To apply for the scheme, the applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous class. (Students belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category will get 5% relaxation)
- Students of government or private schools will be able to take advantage of this scheme.
- Students from class 6 to class 9 can send their applications for this scholarship.
