Steps to fill RRB Technician Online Form 2024
To make the application process easier for the candidates, we have provided here the complete step-by-step process to fill the RRB Technician Application Form 2024.
1. First of all, for online registration, open the official website of Railway Recruitment Board i.e. https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/.
2. Now, go to the ‘Apply’ section and click on “Create an Account”.
3. Candidates now have to first click on ‘Create an Account’ and fill the required details like Nationality, Name of the candidate, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender and Aadhaar Number for verification. (This step is to be done only by those candidates who are new users, candidates who have already created their account for CEN 01/2024 can login for CEN 01/2024 using the same login credentials .)
4. Now, enter personal details like e-mail ID and current mobile number and click on Verify OTP button.
5. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or e-mail ID. Enter the OTP in the required columns to complete the verification purpose.
6. Now, candidates have to create a strong password and enter the captcha code presented on the screen.
7. Once the account is created, candidates now need to log in to the account using the password created in the previous step.
8. Candidates now have to complete the application form by entering the necessary and required information.
9. If a candidate is applying for Writer, he/she has to provide the details of the Writer person.
10. In this stage, candidates have to upload the required documents, signature of the candidate and a color passport size photograph in the prescribed format (scanned copies only).

11. Now, candidates have to pay the application fee by clicking on the payment tab. The application fee will be paid through UPI payment, net banking, e-wallet etc.
12. Click on the ‘Submit’ button and finally, the registration for the respective posts is completed.

Candidates who are applying for Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3 posts must satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements prescribed by the official authorities. The eligibility requirements for both the posts under RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 are different and are mentioned in the table below.
Qualification for Technician Grade 1 Signal: Bachelor of Science in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute or B.Sc. in combination with any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute
Or
Degree in Engineering in any of the above main streams or in any combination of them.
Or
Three years Engineering Diploma in any of the above fundamental streams or any combination of those streams.
Qualification for Technician Grade 3: Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Forger and Heat Treater/Foundryman/Pattern Maker/Moulder (Refractory). (Or) Matriculation/SSLC plus course Complete Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades.
