To be selected to the post of Rajasthan VDO, one has to go through the following two stages.

- Rajasthan VDO exam will be conducted offline.
- All questions will be of multiple choice (objective) type.
- A total of 160 questions will be asked in this examination, which will be of a total of 200 marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
- The time period of this exam will be 3:00 hours (180 minutes).
- There will be five options for each question – A, B, C, D, E. For the correct answer, fill only one ball with blue ball pen.
- It is mandatory for each question to fill only one option.
- No marks will be deducted if the question is not answered.
