Madhya Pradesh State Government has recently started Vikramaditya Scholarship Scheme. Through this scheme, the government is providing financial assistance of Rs 2,500/- every year to every beneficiary student of the state. This is one of the important schemes for student welfare released by the state government.

This scholarship is given to the students taking admission in graduation after school studies. Students taking admission in post graduation are also considered eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme. Eligibility

• This scheme has been issued only for general category students, hence only general category students can apply for this scholarship.
• This is a scheme issued for the economically weaker section even in the general category.
• The total annual income of the student applying for scholarship in graduation should not exceed Rs 54,000/-.
• The total family income for a student taking admission in postgraduate level should not exceed Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand.
• It is mandatory for the applying student to have minimum 60% marks in class 12th. Students with marks less than this are not eligible to receive scholarship in the scheme.
