Teacher Recruitment Board Tripura (TRBT) released the Tripura TET Notification 2025 on the official website on 18th December 2024. The application link for TET will be activated from 24 January 2025 through the official website. Tripura TET 2025 notification released
Teacher Recruitment Board Tripura (TRBT) has announced to start the application from 24th January 2025 through the official website (www.trb.tripura.gov.in). TRBT will conduct the Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2024 in two papers: Paper-I on 24 April 2025 for aspiring teachers of classes I to V and Paper-II on 27 April 2025 for aspiring teachers of classes VI to VIII. . In government schools of Tripura state. Only Indian citizens with Tripura Permanent Resident Certificate (PRTC) are eligible to apply. Tripura TET 2025 Application Fee
The application fee for Tripura TET 2025 exam for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 is ₹300/- for Unreserved (UR) candidates and ₹200/- for SC/ST/PH candidates, as applicable for each paper. Candidates are required to pay the fee during the application process depending on their category.

Candidates are advised to follow these steps to apply Tripura TET 2025 application form online. Candidates can check these steps carefully and fill their Tripura TET 2025 application form on the official website from 24th January 2025.
- step 1: Click on Tripura TET Application Form link to get redirected to the official website of Tripura TET to fill online Tripura TET application form for Tripura TET 2025 examination. Click on Apply Online
- step 2: If you are new user, click on “New User Registration” button to register yourself. Fill your required details and click on “Register” button.
- step 3: Fill all the required credentials: Candidate Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Date of Birth, Personal Details etc.
- step 4: Now select the exam center and medium of instruction for Tripura TET exam in which you want to attempt the paper (English/Bengali/Kokborok).
- Step 5: Enter your Aadhar card number/PAN, select your gender, category and finally select employment status and also fill the qualifying exam status.
- Step 6: Now fill your educational details: latest qualification you have, your percentage marks etc.
- Step 7: Fill your communication address, phone number and email ID.
- Step 8: Upload your photo (JPEG format size: 4-100 KB) and signature (JPEG format size: 1-20 KB). Both images must be in JPG, PNG, or JPEG format and have a white background.
- Step 9: After that, you will be directed to the payment page. Payment for Tripura TET Exam can be made through Credit Card/Debit Card/e-Challan.
- Step 10: Click on submit button. Your Tripura TET application form will be successfully submitted.
Tripura TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility for T-TET Paper-I (for persons aspiring to become Class IV teachers):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education, by whatever name known (or up to the academic level) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 One Year Diploma in Education) Session 2004-05).
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.L.Ed.).
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Or
Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or One-year Diploma in Education till the academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Eligibility for T-TET Paper-II (for persons aspiring to become teachers of classes VI-VIII):
Bachelor and 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Or
Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH will be given relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) etc. are provisionally allowed to appear in T-TET (Paper I & II). is allowed.
Tripura TET 2025 Exam Pattern
Tripura TET exam will be conducted in offline mode for both the papers. Candidates will have 150 questions for TTET exam carrying 150 marks and have to complete them in 2:30 hours. Tripura TET 2025 Passing Criteria
A candidate who secures 60% (90 out of 150) or more marks will be considered passed. Relaxation up to 5% (83 out of 150) in qualifying marks will be given for SC/ST/PH candidates as per the decision of the Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura.
