NSPCL Technical Assistant Results 2025: The NTPC-Sail Power Company Limited (NSPCL) has officially announced the results for the Technical Assistant Recruitment Examination 2025. Candidates present for the first phase of the recruitment process can now check their results online on the official website of NSPCL- nspcl.co.in,
The organization has released a list of shortlisted candidates for skill testing, which is the second phase of the selection process.
NSPCL Technical Assistant Recruitment Overview
The recruitment drive advertised under notification number 04/2024 was launched to fill the technical assistant (power station) vacancies in various subjects-mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation (C&I), and chemistry based on a fixed period. This recruitment is a part of NSPCL’s efforts to support its expansion tasks in Bhilai, Durgapur and Rourkela, where it provides strength to Pal units and government sectors.
Selection Process and CBT Results
The selection process includes two stages:
Step 1-computer-based tests (CBT): Evaluation of candidates belonged to their related subjects on their general qualification, logic, English and technical knowledge. CBT was held in several cities including Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Raipur and Bhubaneswar. In this test, only the candidates who scored a minimum of 40% were eligible for progress.
Stage 2 – Skill Test: According to the official criteria, the candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit from CBT results have been called for skill testing. This phase is purely qualifying in nature, which is considered with the required minimum 40% marks.
NSPCL has followed a ratio of 1: 5 for shortlisting candidates for skill testing – for each available position, five candidates have been selected on the basis of merit.

NSPCL Technical Assistant Results 2025 Out
The list of shortlisted candidates for each technical discipline was published in a PDF format and included both roll numbers and form numbers of successful candidates. Here is the breakdown of the number of candidates shortlisted for each discipline:
- technical Assistant: 13 candidates
- Technical assistant (chemistry): 15 candidates
- Technical assistant (mechanical): 43 candidates
- Technical assistant (power): 46 candidates
These candidates will now go to the skills testing phase, which are to be held May 10, 2025NSPCL has directed all shortlisted candidates to check their registered email ID regularly for skill testing site, time and specific instructions.

What will happen next?
Skill test is mandatory, and only those who qualify for those who qualify will be considered for final selection. The final merit list will only be prepared by those on the basis of marks obtained in CBT that cleans the skill test.
Candidates are advised to prepare well for upcoming skill testing and ensure that they meet all the necessary documents and physical appearance criteria specified by NSPCL.
