RRB NTPC Exam Pattern is as follows-

  1. First Stage of CBT (CBT – STAGE 1) – Preliminary Exam
  2. Second Stage of CBT (CBT – STAGE – 2) – Main Examination
  3. Typing Test (Skill Test)
  4. Document Verification (DV)
  5. Medical Examination (DME Exam)
  6. Final Selection

RRB NTPC exam is conducted in two stages. In such a situation, to get RRB NTPC Final Selection, you will have to pass both these examinations in which the first stage will be Prelims or Pre Exam and the second stage will be Mains Exam. The syllabus for RRB NTPC Pre and Mains is the same with only a few differences. RRB NTPC Exam will mainly consist of 3 subjects.

In which the first subject will be Mathematics (Arithmetic Ability) and the second subject will be Reasoning and the third subject will be General Intelligence and General Awareness.   1. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the pre exam of RRB NTPC. All questions will be objective type.
  2. There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks in this exam.
  3. The pre-examination will be of total 90 minutes.

  2. Maths: Elementary Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Number System, Decimals, Fractions, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss etc.
  3.
