Eligibility Criteria for UPSC ESE Vacancy
- Ability:
Candidates must have a degree in Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
Alternatively, they must have passed Sections A and B of the Institutional Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or equivalent qualification specified in the notification.
- Age Limit:
The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years as on 1 January 2025. Candidates should be born between 2 January 1995 and 1 January 2004.
- Age Relaxation:
- Up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Up to 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Up to 5 years for Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates.
- Salary:
Selected candidates will get salary as per the pay scale defined for Group A and B services in various departments of the Central Government.
