• A bachelor’s degree in any stream (10+2+3 format)- Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce with at least 50% marks, or
• A master’s degree in any of the above sections with at least 50% marks, or
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with specialization in science or mathematics and at least 55% marks.

Note: Candidates with an uniform qualification from a recognized university are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria Shiksha Shastri Program (CET for Shiksha Shastri)

For those wishing to chase B.Ed. In Sanskrit (Nissha Shastri Program), the eligibility criteria are as follows:

• A Shastri Degree or BA with Sanskrit as the main subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks, and
• Shastri including Sanskrit to complete the 2 -year course of BA, and
• Acharya (first year) or MA (Sanskrit) must have passed the first year (bridge course).
• This qualification ensures that the candidate is a strong background in Sanskrit required for this particular program.
