HTET Exam Date 2024 Released
Board of School Education, Haryana has announced HTET Exam Date 2024, this state level examination will be conducted on 7th and 8th December 2024. HTET Level 3 Exam (PGT Teacher) will be conducted on the first day of examination from 3rd. From:00 am to 5:30 pm. HTET Level 2 (TGT Teacher), and Level 1 Exam (PRT) will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM on the second day.

HTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The Board of School Education, Haryana has set certain parameters to determine the eligibility of a candidate for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2024. It is necessary to fulfill these eligibility criteria to appear in this Teacher Eligibility Test in Haryana. The eligibility criteria are age and qualifications and are discussed in detail below.

Candidates between the age of 18 to 38 years are eligible for PRT, TGT and PGT posts. If any candidate who does not fall in this age limit becomes ineligible for HTET 2024 exam.

Educational qualification
It is mandatory to possess the prescribed post-specific qualifications to appear in HTET Exam 2024. Candidates should also note that they are required to attach the required documents with the HTET application form 2024 to support their eligibility claims. Post wise educational qualification is as follows.
Primary Teacher (PRT)
To become a primary teacher in government schools of Haryana, candidates must fulfill any one of the qualifications given below.
- Those who have passed 10+2 Intermediate with 50% marks and have passed/admitted to 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education/B.Ed are eligible.
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 Intermediate with 45% marks and have passed/admitted to 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education/B.Ed are also eligible.
- Those who have Bachelor’s degree in any stream and passed/appearing 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education/BEE can apply for PRT Posts.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
To become a TGT in a government recognized school in Haryana, it is necessary to fulfill certain basic eligibility requirements. Candidates satisfying any of these requirements are eligible.
- Those who have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education can apply for the Level 2 exam.
- Candidates having Bachelor degree with 50% marks and B.Ed/Special B.Ed degree are eligible
- 10+2 with 50% marks and 4 years BA B.Ed/B.Com B.Ed degree
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
To become eligible for postgraduate teacher posts, candidates must have obtained Master’s degree and B.Ed degree in relevant subjects with 50% marks.
