Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently organized SSC CGL recruitment process, in which candidates will have to get more marks to be selected, the only way to get good marks in any exam is the candidates to have complete knowledge of syllabus and exam pattern.

SSC CGL exam is conducted in two tier, which will have different papers and sections, whose complete information will be received through SSC CGL exam pattern and the process of getting selected can be obtained through SSC CGL Selection Process.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2025

According to SSC CGL new exam pattern, the exam will be conducted through two tier (Tier-1 and Tier-2) which will have a paper in the Tier-1 examination and a total of three papers in the Tier-2 examination, which will depend on the posts selected by the candidates. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2025

A total of 100 questions will be asked in SSC CGL Tier-1 exam which will be divided into four sections and candidates will be given a total of 60 minutes to solve these questions and 02 marks will be given for correcting each question and 0.5 negative marking will also be done in case of wrongdoing each question. Apart from this, this question will be of 200 marks.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL Tier-2 exam will include a total of three papers, the first paper will be mandatory for all posts and Tier-2 paper-II will be only for those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Statistics Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and will include only candidates on the posts of Assistant Accounts Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer in Paper-III. In the first paper of Tier-2, a negative marking of 1 digit will be done if each question is wrong, while in both other papers, a negative marking of 0.5 marks will be done for each wrong questions.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper -1 Exam Pattern

Paper-1 in SSC CGL Tier-2 will be required for all applied candidates and there will be a total of three groups of this paper and there will be some sub-groups of those three groups. This paper will have a total of 150 questions and in the last time data entry speed test will be done for 15 minutes.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper -2 and Paper -3 Exam Pattern

As we have told you earlier, Tier-2 paper-II will only be for those candidates who are willing for the post of Junior Statistics Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Paper-III can include only candidates applied for the posts of Assistant Accounts Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer and both papers will have a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong questions. Apart from this, a total of 100-100 questions will be asked in Paper -2 and Paper -3.
